If technician didn't even open the applince, but gave you the quote, you will have to pay the service call fee. Our technicians have many years of experience and in some cases (for example, when your appliance or HVAC is making loud noice, or if there is an error code) they don't need to disassemble your appliance to determine the issue 

If you have plumbing or electricity issues (which requires different type of licence), our technician won't be able to help you and will reffer you to the plumber or electirician. This means that he found the problem, and you still will have to pay the service call fee

Our technicians carry common parts, and most of the problems could be fixed right away. However, sometimes they will need to order some parts, or get them from our part manager. This can take from several hours to several days. If we order the part, it usually take 7-10 days to get it delivered.

We can give you a quote, but we can't guarantee that you got the correct diagnosis. If you decide to do the repairs then, we would be happy to help

The two-hour window that we give you is for the technician to make it to your place. We have to take into consideration unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or delay at technician’s previous appointment.

In some rare cases, the only way to complete the diagnostics is to replace either one or another part. In complicated modern appliances such as refrigerators, there are few parts responsible for the same operation. Our technicians will have to try replacing them one by one, if the problem is not obvious. Please, be patient, as we're trying our best to get your appliance or HVAC back to order in a shortly manner. Feel free to call us with any concerns or questions

Otherwise, you will have to pay for the diagnostics. Coming over to you place, our technicians spend their time and gas. Technician will also spend some time while the inspection.  And as you know, "Time is money"

To save some money, you may also bring your appliance to our Fremont office* and we will check it for you for $40 fee for the residential appliance or $55 for the commercial (* by appointment only)

No, you don't have to pay if you still have warranty. However, you need to be sure that you're facing the same problem or the same part got out of order. For example, your dryer wasn't heating up and our tech replaced the heating element. Few weeks later, you found your dryer blowing cold air again. Diagnostics confirmed that heating element broke again

Yes, if you're experiencing the new problem with the same appliance, and you refuse to pay for the repair, we will charge you $65 for the residential appliance or HVAC, or $95 for the commercial. For example, your dryer wasn't heating up and our tech replaced the heating element. Few weeks later, you found your dryer blowing cold air again. Diagnostics showed that high limit thermostat got out of order

It depends on the problem. If you're facing a common problem that requires common part, our technician will be able to fix it on spot. However, in some cases, like when your refrigerator requires freon, we will need a second visit. Sometimes we need to order the part, if it is something not common, like a control board. Technician can't carry all the parts for all kind of appliances, that's why sometimes they will need a second visit.

Our technicians are helping the customers and can’t answer the phone. We can’t perform the diagnostics over the phone, without seeing the appliance. But we would love to send someone out to check it for you.

Sure, we can. In this case we will charge only for the labor. However, we will not give you any warranty on the part

If it turns out that you got the wrong part, we will either install our own part or will charge you for the service call, if you refuse to do the repair.

Our air conditioning broke at the worst possible time - during a 95+ degree weekend! We were in desperate need of a technician, and were so pleased with The Appliance Repair Master. They were quick to get back to us to make an appointment, and our technician Serge was so professional and quick to fix the issue. Serge went into our backyard to take a look at the AC unit and saw that the fan wasn't working. He assessed the condenser and determined that we had 3 separate issues that required repairs. Because he didn't have all of the parts on hand, he made a quick run to Home Depot, and was back in 20 minutes with everything he needed. After Serge replaced everything, he did a check at each vent in the house to make sure cool air was coming through. The entire repair took less than an hour and a half - amazing!
